Introduction to Planting Design - Full Day
Monday 28th April 2025
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Doddington Hall (Coach House or Walled Garden Studio, depending on numbers), Nr. Lincoln, Lincolnshire LN6 4RU, UK
While it may be possible to design a garden with only minimal planting, for most of us plants are the icing on the cake, or even the main event. Good planting can make or break a garden, or help elevate it to a different level. We will consider the principle considerations when it comes to designing with plants, the main types of plants, their characteristics and how to use them effectively.
This course is ideal for anyone who would like to get the most from the plants in their garden. You will learn how to see plants though fresh eyes, appreciate their different qualities and understand how to use them to create the effect you want.
Tea/coffee/biscuits provided.
£95 (limited to 11 places).
