  • How to make our gardens both attractive to wildlife and a valuable part of the wider environment, while also being beautiful and practical places we want to spend time in.

Trees in Garden Design

  • Trees are a central element in the design of most gardens. This talk will discuss the many roles trees play and how to use them effectively.

An introduction to foraging

  • Plants to forage - what, when, how.....and why you might want to.

Fantastic flora

  • Fascinating stories about plants & our lives with them. We are all familiar with animal magic but modern society has been become ‘plant blind’. This despite the fact that plants have played, and continue to play, a central role in our lives.

Our forest friends

  • The trees that shaped Britain & how to identify them

Wonderfully wild

  • The weeds we live with, their stories and how to identify them.
